My name is Eileen, I am a newbie to the site but not the the world of computers and software. I began with a TRaSh80...and now live in a world with many Windows. In the 90's I founded my own Internet Presence Provider company called PuterGirl (hence my nickname). I hope to be very active in contributing and getting to know everyone here.

Introducing myself as requested ...
First used a computer in college in the mid-70's and have been at it
ever since. My math skills were too poor to change majors to computer science so most has been self-taught - sufficient to be employed in the field for many years.
Worked briefly in the solar energy business in the late 70's and have
followed it ever since.
Accepted the Lordship of Christ in 1990 and He led me to the Seminary where I earned a masters in counseling and then a doctorate in church leadership.
I use Puppy Linux as my main OS, it is also on the family computer.
I have been working at expanding my use of Linux to my Amateur Radio hobby and to the children's education and entertainment (they
love SuperTux).
I have recently stepped down as a member of the pastoral leadership of our church as we were anticipating immediate relocation to GA
from FL - that has been delayed.
