FSFLA Currently Fighting Two Battles

The Free Software Foundation - Latin America is currently fighting two battles.

According to one source, "The Ministry of Labor in Brazil signed a pact with Microsoft very similar to one of the provisions of the pact in Chile, and our old "friend" Receita Federal (the reason why our campaign against Softwares Impostos started) was about to waste US$20M in MS Office licenses. So far we've managed to delay it for a week, now we have to convince them to change their minds."

People in Brazil need to know, so they can help save their country $20 million and stave off yet another pact with Microsoft.

Edit:Blue GNU is working to bring more information at this time.
