Howdy! I found my way here from VARLinux.org. I'm an old-timer--started with punched cards back in the early '70s. We had free software back then, it just wasn't called that. Anyway, here's hoping this site takes off! Maybe my breaking the water in this forum will induce others to speak up.

Welcome! I'm pretty much still wet behind the ears, so to speak. I started out with DOS 6.22 & Win 3.11 (not W4WG). I tried an early version of GNU/Linux, but never got anywhere with it. @ 1997, I picked up with Red Hat 5.1. I finally went exclusively GNU/Linux in 2004. This leg of my tech journey has been much more fun than the first leg!
