Blue GNU has been essentially out of operation for the past two weeks, due to circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate Falko for providing our readers a little something of interest in the meantime. Please look for us to start posting again Friday morning.

Several factors combined to hamper our ability to publish regularly in recent weeks. First, having to work two jobs is a hard row to hoe. But having to work both of them 7 days a week for two months is entirely too much. In addition, time I normally have to engage in research, etc. has been lacking as a result of the 60-day marathon. Now throw in taking care of the family, having to work with other Blue Gnu clients when I might be researching and writing, and you'll quickly begin to see why I'm not getting much publishing done.

Assuming we have resolved the issue that led to the 60-Day marathon, I should be able to bring the site back up to relatively normal publishing levels in good time. I know we have lost readers during this time, but we hope you'll find the new material worth reading. Meanwhile, having sponsors to allow me to turn down future 60-day marathons would greatly reduce the chances of such disasters recurring. ;-)
