Another Performance Improvement?

I made another adjustment to the settings on the server in the hopes that this will boost performance a bit more. It seems that, occasionally, the site loads a bit slow. Please let me know if you experience performance-related problems.

For a while between 11 and

For a while between 11 and noon ET every page was taking at least a minute then it suddenly went back to good response at 11:45, then slowed again after a couple pages. The load progress bar advances very slowly when it's misbehaving. I'm stuck with using IE6 behind a firewall which shouldn't have anything to do with the slowness.
